Aldo began traveling across Europe trading accessories and spreading the word about his company. In the 1970s, Aldo passed down the founding position to his three children: Giovanna, Carlo, and Paolo. This is when they launched the first ever Furla bag collection, which became a success overnight.

The brand can also be found in 1,000 department stores and shops around the world. The headquarters is stationed close to the centre of Bologna, in a classical building that was made in the late 18th Century. Furla currently designs and produces handbags, eyewear, shoes, small leather goods, jewellery, scarves, and belts.
