Guess has not been around as long as some of the other sunglass companies, but they have certainly made a name for themselves since 1981. Guess as you probably know is more than just sunglasses, they are
fashion as well. Guess started with creating jeans in California and have since created a men's, women's, and children's line. The Marciano brothers started the company and were raised in the South of France. A lot of their fashion and design comes from that upbringing. There are 91 styles to the 2008 collection from Guess with a top ten you might be interested in. The sunglass collection is mostly going to be female, but they do have a unisex line as well.
The GU6071 is a Unisex pair of sunglasses that you can even put prescription lenses in. The lenses are a little wider in the sunglasses than most of the glasses styles you might find. They are also rectangular in this pair. The frames are made of a plastic material without the adjustable nose pieces. The ear pieces are a little thick and gently curve around the ears. The colour is a dark blue.
An interesting pair is the GU6112. They are considered unisex, but they are very pink. You have the oval shaped lenses in this one with the plastic frames and a more detailed curve to the ear pieces.
GU118 has a wire frame to the rectangular lens design. There are two metal pieces hooking the lenses together with the adjustable nose pieces. The side pieces are thin metal that curve around the ear, and have protective plastic on the ends. These lenses can be exchanged for prescription lenses because the sunglasses are more flexible and therefore adjustable. The lens that comes in them is a dark brown with UV protection.
There are plenty of wire frames, plastic, round, rectangle, and oval sunglasses in the 2008 collection. The collection ranges from 50 pounds to over 200 pounds. It is all up to how much you want to spend on a pair of Guess sunglasses, but the quality is well worth the price.
