Il Blasco is a co- branded sunglass manufacturer. They are also named under Vasco Rossi and Vidivici Occhiali. You may recognize these sunglasses if you watch popular musicians in the UK. They began their
design for rock stars, as they are convinced sunglasses can be set to music to offer a unique design. Il Blasco has 3 items for the current 2008 collection. Something that is very interesting is that the lenses have words from the Vasco Rossi's own songs.
Their collection is considered to be unisex making the designs for everyone. The first style is VRKappa1. The frames are plastic without adjustable nose pieces. The black frames house rectangular lenses of an equally dark colour to offer UV protection. From the lenses the side pieces come to a tip, because of the wrap around lenses. From the tip the side pieces begin to taper to a thinner material and a slight curve for around the ear. This particular model will sell for 70 pounds or 129 USD.
VRKappa4 is definitely different. The front of the frames is grey colour without the adjustable nose pieces. From the front you have two pieces of plastic, one on the top and the other on the bottom, that move back to the thick side pieces. From about half way to the ear the side piece becomes very slim to fit around the ears more comfortably. They also curve. The lenses are a dark colour to match the side pieces, and have a bit of reflective purposes. This style can support prescription lenses if the need is there. They are a little more expensive at 85 pounds and up.
The VRKappa5 is the same style as the 4, but the frames are completely black rather than having the grey front. You can also find this item for less than the 4. The lenses can be exchanged for prescription lenses in this style as well.
