Laura Biagiotti Sunglasses

Laura Biagiotti is  an Italian born fashion designer. She was born in 1943, in Rome. She studied for a literature qualification at a Rome university, and had plans to become an archaeologist. However,

her mother was a dressmaker and owned her own business, which Laura Biagiotti helped out with from time to time. Helping out her mother's business made Laura more interested in the fashion industry, and in 1972, she held her first fashion show.
The House of Biagiotti, Laura Biagiotti's fashion ranges, is now one of the largest fashion houses in Italy. Laura Biagiotti has a claim of being the first Italian designer to ever present a collection of fashion to China, when she did this in Beijing in April 1988. She has received a presidential award from the President of Italy as a merit for her contribution to the fashion industry, as well as an award from the Chinese government for her role in promoting fashion in China. In 2002, the Italian post office released a postage stamp in her honour.
Laura Biagiotti is known as the 'Queen of Cashmere', and has a motto of 'art is fashion, and fashion is art'. This ideology shows through all her work, making all her fashion designs works of art in their own right. Her sunglasses collection is reaching great popularity, with their unusual and inspiring designs. The current season's range of sunglasses see the idea of 'twin set' being used ? a unique idea of vision and sun together in one item. Laura Biagiotti's designs have coloured smoked lenses, making them very aesthetically pleasing, and the metal rims on them means they are hard wearing and long lasting, whilst still being beautiful and highly fashionable.
Just as you would expect from a big and world famous name like Laura Biagiotti, her range of sunglasses are something to behold.
