P8408 is the first on our list to discuss in the new items for 2008. This pair of sunglasses is in the aviator style with a little twist. Rather than the large rounded lenses the lenses have been drawn out into a type of oval and are a little less wide than the standard aviator lenses. The frames are made with titanium and offer a small thin bridge between the lenses with adjustable nose pieces. From the sides of the lenses the side pieces are hooked on with screws. The side pieces are thin metal moving into a curve around the ear with protective plastic. The lenses are a dark shade to keep the sun out. Porsche is a bit on the expensive side for sunglasses with this pair selling for 125 pounds or more depending on the store.
8402 is very distinctive and interesting. The lenses are in a half frame which means that the bottom half of the lenses are not encased in the plastic frame. The lenses are metallic gold and a rectangular shape. The frames are actually a burnished red or bronze and thick. The side pieces are extremely thick until the front of the ear where it slims down to a medium thickness to gently curve around the ear. This particular pair sells for close to 200 pounds.
Each of the sunglasses are going to offer a distinctive style that you might see elsewhere, but the quality with Porsche is what you are paying for in the style. They have a unique all male collection to tantalize the buyer.
