RAY-Ban Sunglasses

Ray-Ban has been on the tip of most everyone?s tongue for the perfect sunglasses. The company began in 1937. They were bought out by Bausch and Lomb a couple of years ago. The original idea was to create

sunglasses for the US Air Force, but that soon turned to the entire market with the Luxottica Group. The Ray-Ban has been used in movies like Blues Brothers, Top Gun, Miami Vice, Reservoir Dogs, and even Men in Black. Ray- Ban is actually a sponsor for Honda Formula 1. The sunglasses are lightweight acetate material with a blend of metallic lenses. Ray- Ban produces a unisex, male, and kids collection. This year they have over 300 items on the collection.

3025 Mirrored is the first item on the collection list. This particular style has been around for years and is the original Ray- Ban style. They are what can be called aviator sunglasses in the purest sense. The lenses are the rounded style in a thin metal frame. The lenses are mirrored pink so that anyone looking at you will only see their reflection rather than your eyes. The frames have the thin metal side pieces ending in a curve with a plastic protector. The other attribute is the moveable nose pieces to provide maximum comfort. 3025 sells for under 100 pounds.

Next on the list is the RB3132. The Ray-Ban pair has a unique style in the colouring. The lenses are orange with soft orange plastic frames that move to a purple side arm. The side pieces are thick plastic in the width, but thin material. The side pieces curve gently around the ears for maximum comfort. The lenses are round in shape. This pair sells for a little less than the aviator style.

Most of the sunglasses in the collection offer the rounded lenses rather than square or rectangular. The colours are bright or dull depending on your choice and the cost hovers around the same for each pair.
